Main Line HealthCare (MLHC) and Drs. Rubenstein, Wolf, and Menegos are pleased to welcome David N. Vegari, MD to Main Line Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Vegari received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He continued his training in the Philadelphia area as an orthopaedic surgery residency at Jefferson Medical College where he was honored with the Phillip Syng Physick Award in 2012 for the most outstanding research project. He most recently completed the prestigious Hip and Knee Replacement Fellowship at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Vegari has a special clinical interest in joint replacement. He specializes in the fluoroscopically-guided anterior approach for Total Hip Arthroplasty. He has extensive training in computer-navigated total and partial knee replacements, and revision surgery. Additionally, Dr. Vegari has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications as well as book chapters in the field of hip and knee replacement, and looks forward to continuing his research at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Orthopaedic Societies, and is on staff at the Main Line Health Hospitals; Lankenau Medical Center and Bryn Mawr, Paoli, and Riddle Hospitals.
