(Bryn Mawr, PA)—October 30, 2012—As Hurricane Sandy moves past the Philadelphia region, all Main Line Health (MLH) hospitals remain fully operational and initial surveys of buildings and grounds indicate that Sandy caused no significant damage to the MLH facilities. Across MLH, more than 350 additional staff members slept overnight to ensure the highest quality care delivery to our patients.
“We have seen remarkable commitment from our employees and medical staff as they made every effort to ensure our patients had access to the best possible medical care during the hurricane,” said Jack Lynch, Main Line Health President and CEO.
All MLH facilities—Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehab, Mirmont Treatment Center and the Home Care Network— are fully operational with the exception of:

As the storm passes, MLH continues to closely monitor weather updates and remains in regular contact with local officials. All of our hospitals continue to operate in accordance with our emergency preparedness plans and procedures. Many governmental warnings remain in effect—please adhere to all safety recommendations, and if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
