(Bryn Mawr, PA) — As the region braces itself for the impending Hurricane, Main Line Health has been preparing for several days to ensure the safety of its patients and employees, including an assessment of our facility infrastructure, preparation of emergency supplies and adequate overnight accommodations for staff.
“Throughout the year, all of our Main Line Health facilities engage in routine exercises to prepare for disasters such as Hurricane Sandy,” explained Jack Lynch, President and CEO of Main Line Health. “We are ready and prepared to serve the medical needs of our community during this potential disaster.”
At this time, all MLH facilities—Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehab, Mirmont Treatment Center and the Home Care Network— are fully operational with the exception of:

Main Line HealthCare outpatient offices, closed today and tomorrow, Tuesday October 30—patients will be contacted to reschedule their appointments
Throughout the next several days, Main Line Health will be posting status updates and closures on our website at mainlinehealth.org.
Main Line Health reminds the community that in the event of a true emergency, please call 911. Individuals with power-operated medical devices, such as an oxygen concentrator, should contact the Southeastern Pennsylvania Office of the American Red Cross at 215- 299-4000 or the nearest County Emergency Management Office to determine the closest shelter.
