Malvern, PA – The Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Volunteer Association will host its first annual golf outing on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Applecross Country Club in Downingtown. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Project SEARCH program at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Main Line Health.
The event planned and organized by committee members of the Volunteer Association of BMRH, includes a shotgun scramble format golf tournament, dinner reception and silent auction. There will be a special guest appearance during dinner by former BMRH patient, Ralph Archbold, Philadelphia’s favorite Ben Franklin.
The Volunteer Association of Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital assists the hospital in meeting its charitable mission and goals through its fundraising efforts. The efforts of the Volunteer Association support programs and initiatives of the hospital and the community it serves. This year the Volunteer Association is proud to support Project SEARCH with the proceeds from this event.
Project SEARCH is a unique program for adults with disabilities who want to secure employment following career exploration. Through Project SEARCH, interns immerse themselves in classroom and vocational education, including on-the-job experiences and job coaching support.
