Main Line HealthCare Welcomes Specialist in Adult Epilepsy

(WYNNEWOOD, PA)  Main Line HealthCare (MLHC) and the physicians and staff of MLHC Neurology are pleased to welcome Douglas Maus, MD, PhD.  He is board certified in both Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology.  Dr. Maus earned his medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and completed his Neurology residency and Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Maus also holds a doctorate in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He specializes in adult epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a complex disorder with more than 40 distinct neurological syndromes.   Dr. Maus is an accomplished, experienced neurologist that specializes in the treatment of adults with epilepsy.  He is sensitive to the many emotional and physical challenges that seizures can bring to his patients and their families.  Consequently, he places a special importance on supporting and working closely with his patients in finding the best individualized treatment plan that helps in their living a fulfilling life.  

Dr. Maus is a member of the American Epilepsy Society and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and is on staff at the Main Line Health Hospitals: Lankenau Medical Center and Bryn Mawr, Paoli, and Riddle Hospitals.  He welcomes new patients to Suite 256 in Medical Office Building East at Lankenau Medical Center, 100 East Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood.  He has convenient office hours, and accepts most insurance plans.  To schedule an appointment with Dr. Maus call 484.572.6300.
