David A. Bigatel, MD, FACS

(WYNNEWOOD & MEDIA, PA)  Main Line HealthCare is pleased to welcome David A. Bigatel, MD, FACS to Main Line HealthCare Vascular Specialists on July 1, 2012.  Board certified in Vascular and General Surgery, Dr. Bigatel earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College.  Following his general surgery residency at Lankenau Hospital, he completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Penn State/ Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, and a Fellowship in Endovascular Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.  Dr. Bigatel has more than 14 years of experience in vascular and endovascular surgery, carotid disease, aneurysms, and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD).  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Society for the Advancement of Blood Management, and is available as a speaker for community events.  Dr. Bigatel is on the staff of the Main Line Health Hospitals; Lankenau Medical Center (home to the Lankenau Heart & Vascular Pavilion opening in 2013), and Riddle, Bryn Mawr, and Paoli Hospitals.
