Main
Line Health has named Jeshahnton Essex (Shaun), FACHE, Vice
President of Riddle Hospital. Essex, who
previously served as Assistant Administrator at Methodist Healthcare –
University Hospital in Memphis, TN, brings more than 10 years of
healthcare management experience to Main Line Health (MLH).
As Vice President, Essex will report to Riddle Hospital’s President Gary Perecko and will collaborate with leaders and colleagues across the organization as the hospital continues to focus on its mission to deliver a superior patient experience. Essex will oversee a number of operational and clinical areas.
“It is an honor to serve as Riddle’s new vice president and to join a health system that serves as such a vital resource for its community,” said Essex. “I look forward to working with the Riddle team to continue to enhance quality of care for our patients.”

A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Essex earned Master’s Degrees in Health Administration and Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a member of ACHE, the Mid-South Healthcare Executives, and served as both a Past President and Past National Chair of Chapter Development for the National Association of Healthcare Executives (NAHSE). Essex and his wife, Demika, reside in Glen Mills with their four children.
