What Are the Treatment Statistics for Hodgkin's Disease?

The prognosis for people diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease before it has spread is very good. These are the facts according to the  Cancer Facts & Figures 2009 from the American Cancer Society. The survival rate for people whose doctors find Hodgkin's disease while it's still stage I or II is high. The relative survival rates for all patients combined are as follows.

  • The 1-year survival rate is 92 percent

  • The 5-year survival rate is 85 percent

  • The 10-year survival rate is 81 percent
