UNITE Support Group

UNITE recognizes that parents need to grieve following the death of their baby through emotional support and parent–to–parent sharing on issues related to their loss. Even when the child’s life was brief, parents feel the normal, painful, response of grieving. This can be particularly lonely when the baby was not yet known to family and friends.

We invite anyone who has experienced a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or infant death to attend our free monthly UNITE Support Group. This group is guided by a trained facilitator, but the meetings are not group therapy sessions. UNITE can assist in referral if additional professional support is needed.

Stretch Your Limits

The Stretch Your Limits Exercise Program for adults over age 55 includes a light aerobic warm-up, resistance training with dumbbells and elastic tubing, and stretching with chair Tai chi and modified yoga. call 484-337-8720 option 2 Classes are held in the Bryn Mawr Hospital Clothier Building on Monday’s from 3:30-4:30 PM and Thursdays from 12noon to 1PM. The fee is $5.00 per class and $8.00 to purchase resistance tubes. Participants are asked to bring two 5lb dumbbells

Heartsaver AED Course

This Two Day American Heart Association course teaches CPR and AED use in adults and children, relief of choking in adults and children, and CPR and choking in infants. Participants receive an American Heart Association certification upon completion which is valid for two years.

If you would like to purchase a pocket mask it is $7 if purchased in advance by calling 1.866.CALL.MLH to register for class and the mask and $10 if purchased the day of the class. If purchased the day of class we accept cash or check made payable to “Riddle Hospital.”
For anyone 12yrs or older.
24 hour notice must be given for a refund along with a returned UNOPENED manual.
Books are mailed out 2 weeks prior to the start of class. If registration is after that date, you will receive the book in class
