intended to promote healthy living. Our experts cover a wide spectrum of
topics—all dedicated to your good health.

Heart Healthy Rodeo: A Kid's Health Event
Mosey on over for this fun-filled event where students can learn about
the heart! Learn everything from healthy snacking and what the heart
sounds like to heart healthy words of wisdom from a cardiologist. This
event is for children ages 6–13.
This monthly event will feature food and an informative presentation
about healthy living for older adults. These are held every month at
4:30 pm in the Administrative Annex Conference Room 1 located around the
back of the building that houses the Thrift Shop on the Ground Floor.
Come in the doors on the far right. Cost is $7 per person.
Women undergoing treatment for cancer are invited to join us for this
program developed by the American Cancer Society, the Cosmetic,
Toiletry, and Fragrance Foundation, and the National Cosmetology
Association. Learn the latest make-up tips as well as information on
wigs, head wraps and much more! Each participant will receive a personal
beauty kit to take home. This is a free program but pre-registration is

Do you have concerns about falling? Many older adults express concerns
about falling and restricting their activities. A Matter of Balance is
an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity
levels. This program covers topics including: Exploring Thoughts and
Concerns About Falling, Exercise and Fall Prevention, Assertiveness and
Fall Prevention, Managing Concerns about Falling, Recognizing Fall-ty
Habits, and Recognizing Fall Hazards in the Home and Community. This is
a free course but registration is required. Space is very limited. Participants
must commit to attending all sessions.
Riddle Hospital is committed to offering screenings to the community at
the most convenient times and locations possible. We offer various
cancer screenings, blood pressure screenings, stroke risk assessments,
vouchers for free cholesterol screenings, etc.
