Main Line Health is a large health care provider located in the suburbs
of Philadelphia consisting of four major hospitals: Lankenau Medical
Center, Bryn Mawr, Paoli and Riddle hospitals.
The Radiology Residency Program is based at the Bryn Mawr Hospital. It
is a four-year residency program approved by the American Board of
Radiology. The program participates in the National Residency Matching
Program (NRMP) and the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
The Bryn Mawr Hospital is a teaching hospital with a long tradition of
providing excellent health care needs of our community. The hospital is
fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care
Organizations and approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate
Medical Education and the American Medical Association for post-doctoral
The program offers balanced training within the community hospital
setting. The diversity of the patient population ensures that the
residents experience a wide range of disease entities.
The hospitals are equipped with the state-of-the-art technology in a
variety of imaging modalities. Our residents are given the opportunity
to balance hands on experience with didactic teaching. Under close
supervision of attending radiologists, our residents are well prepared
for future practice as an attending radiologist.
