Many patients continue to follow with us, some for over 20 years. Arthritis can be debilitating and life changing. It can impact the entire family unit. We want to make a difference in our patients' lives to alleviate pain and inflammation and make them more functional.

Gary V. Gordon, MD
I have been practicing rheumatology at Lankenau since 1982. (Whew!) I have lectured around the country on rheumatic diseases and have written many articles. I have been listed as a Top Doc in Philadelphia magazine. I even had a brief moment of fame on Oprah (not that much fun). I am interested in food politics and the problems of obesity as it relates to arthritis and many other health-related aspects. I sit on the board of The Food Trust which has been successful in getting healthy food available in under-served areas and in the Philadelphia schools. I have had a hand in getting Lankenau's vegetable garden started. It is just getting underway and will hopefully grace our cafeteria this summer. I have a wonderful wife, 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
