I have been caring for patients in the Delaware Valley, Philadelphia, and South Jersey since the late 90's. My goal is to always provide each patient with exceptional personalized care. I focus my practice on the operative as well as non-operative treatment of shoulder and elbow disorders. I perform a wide variety of surgical procedures on the shoulder and elbow including arthroscopic surgery (eg. rotator cuff repairs, instability surgery) comprehensive fracture care, as well as shoulder and elbow replacement(arthroplasty) procedures for arthritis.

Dr. Abboud is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and specializes in the treatment of patients with shoulder and elbow disorders. Dr. Abboud performs a wide variety of surgical procedures on the shoulder and elbow including arthroscopic surgery (eg. rotator cuff repairs, instability surgery) comprehensive fracture care, as well as shoulder and elbow replacement (arthroplasty) procedures for arthritis. Dr. Abboud serves as the director of shoulder and elbow research at the Rothman Institute and is extensively involved in both clinical and basic science research. Dr. Abboud lectures extensively both nationally and internationally and is widely published in various journals in addition to authoring several textbooks himself.
