I try to keep the patient-physician relationship front and center, which is difficult in this day and age. I make sure to look at and pay attention to the patient during his or her visit, and not a computer screen. I am available to my patients by phone and email and make sure to return correspondence as soon as possible. Communication is key.
I am a non-invasive cardiologist, meaning I see patients for acute cardiovascular issues, follow them for chronic cardiovascular issues, and—perhaps most importantly—try to prevent cardiovascular issues in the first place. I am board certified in cardiovascular medicine, adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT. I have been at Lankenau for nearly 10 years—I did my cardiology training here from 2006-2009 and have been on faculty since then. I am intimately involved with medical education, and work closely with students, residents, and fellows on a daily basis. This helps me to keep myself on the cutting edge of cardiovascular medicine. I grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ and went to college at Duke University. My medical degree is from the University of Virginia, and I completed my internal medicine training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. I am currently in private practice as a member of Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association, and proud to practice primarily at Lankenau Medical Center.
