Laura A. Gowen, MD is the Plastic Surgeon for the CIRILLO CENTER FOR PLASTIC SURGERY. Dr. Gowen is a Philadelphia native, completing her plastic surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She refined her training with a fellowship in microsurgical breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. These respected programs have prepared Dr. Gowen well for a wide range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. Dr. Gowen's training and expertise in reconstructive cases includes breast reduction, breast reconstruction, scar revision, facial trauma, lower extremity reconstruction, minor wound care and more. Dr. Gowen's training and expertise in aesthetic procedures includes breast augmentation, tummy tuck, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, facelift and body shaping procedures such as liposuction and post-massive weight loss surgery.
