About
Louis X. Santore, MD
Dr. Santore is a proud graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine. Following a medical internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, he completed his specialty residency in Ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Santore has practiced Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology for the past thirty-three years at The Lankenau Medical Center, where he is the Chief, Division of Ophthalmology. Dr. Santore is a Past President of the Medical Alumni Association of the Temple University School of Medicine and continues to maintain a number of professional affiliations with many local, state and national Ophthalmologic societies. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Santore has been a member of the teaching faculty at Wills Eye Hospital and has actively participated in medical student and resident training for The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Medical School, Temple University Hospital Department of Ophthalmology and School of Medicine, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In continuing to provide full service eye care for his patients, Dr. Santore has a state of the art Optical Boutique located in his office at The Lankenau Medical Center. A recipient of several professional awards, Dr. Santore has regularly been a Top Doc in Main Line Today magazine.
