Statement of Practice Philosophy

Peter D. Le Roux, M.D., FACS, specializes in microneurosurgery and has a clinical interest in the surgical treatment of spinal disorders, brain metabolism and monitoring, cerebral vascular disease, head injury/concussion, and brain, pituitary and spinal tumors.

Recent Clinical Studies Published

Dr. Le Roux is an internationally known specialist in brain metabolism and monitoring in the neurocritical care setting. He has authored guidelines for management of traumatic brain injury for the Neurocritical Care Society’s Emergency Neurological Life Support and for the International Olympic Committee’s Manual of Sports Injuries. Since 2002, Dr. Le Roux has given more than 190 invited lectures in 15 countries and published more than 170 manuscripts in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He also is coeditor of Management of Cerebral Aneurysms and Monitoring in Neurocritical Care and section editor for Youman's Neurological Surgery (textbooks of neurosurgery).
