Statement of Practice Philosophy

The Hospitalists of the Academic Hospitalist Program at Lankenau Medical Center comprise our core teaching faculty, supervising and teaching Internal Medicine residents, and provide inpatient care 24/7.  They work exclusively for Lankenau Medical Center, are always current with the most advanced medical treatments and procedures, and have open access to Lankenau's renowned subspecialists.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

2011 - Temple University Hospital - Dept of Internal Medicine
Ambulatory Quality Improvement Project Leader
Directed and managed a group of 8 residents for a logitudinal quality improvement project in the ambulatory setting with the goal of implementing and evaluating the resident outpatient clinic as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).  A PCMH is an innovative approach to providing continuous comprehensive health care, focusing on the doctor-patient relationship, psychosocial aspects of health, and implementing multi-disciplinary initiatives to overcome barriers to care.
