Dana M. Dober, DPM

Dr. Dana Dober is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine who treats conditions of the foot and ankle, is specialized and board certified in foot surgery. She has an office in the Springfield/Havertown area. Dr. Dober is a native of Iowa, where she grew up and still has family. She earned her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from Iowa State University where she majored in Health and Human Performance with a minor in Athletic Training. Dr. Dober graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University. She decided to further her education at a surgical residency and completed her surgical training at the Department of Veteran's Affairs Hospital in Huntington, WV and Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, NJ. After completing her surgical training, Dr. Dober moved to the Main Line with her husband to begin practice and she continues to remain active in the residency program as an instructor at both Main Line Health and Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Dober is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. She is a member of the medical staff at the Main Line Health Hospitals as well as Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Dober enjoys educating her patients about their foot problems and both conservative as well as surgical treatment options. Dr. Dober believes that the better educated a patient is about their health the better their overall outcome and lifestyle will be. Patients of all ages and new patients are welcome at Dr. Dober's office. She enjoys treating all types of foot problems including: heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and wound care. The on-site X-ray machine facilitates the quick treatment of acute fractures, dislocations, and injuries. Dr. Dober keeps evening and earlier morning appointments to help accommodate patients' schedules as well as schedules house calls.
