Louis M. Giangiulio, MD

Dr. Giangiulio is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Wayne, PA attended high school at Malvern Prep and completed undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel) in 1999 and completed his residency in Pediatrics in the U.S. Army at Walter Reed AMC in Wahington DC and Bethesda Naval Med Center in 2002. Dr G. served his country as an Army pediatrician for 6 years, including a 9 month tour in Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2003-04 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After his military service he returned to the Main Line area to establish his solo practice- Sugartown Pediatrics- to put his years of experience and well-travelled expertise to work for your children. He has two office locations in Malvern, PA and Newtown Square, PA and accepts most major health insurances. Dr G. is credentialed at Main Line Health and attends to newborns at Paoli, Bryn Mawr, and Lankenau Hospitals. He is also on staff at Women's Lifecycle Care birthing center in Bryn Mawr, PA. He is the school physician at The Phelps School in Malvern, PA and serves as the medical consultant for the Penn-DelCo School District in Aston, PA and for the wrestling program at Malvern Prep. He serves on the Main Line Health nursery committee and is a board member of the Mason Shaffer Foundation, a public non-profit cord blood donation program. Dr G. is married with 4 children and enjoys all sporting activities, his Italian culture, and is especially fond of accordion music.
