Colin M. Movsowitz, MD

Dr Colin Movsowitz is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist who has practiced in this field since 1995. Dr Movsowitz qualified top of his class at the University of Cape Town South Africa. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Cardiology Fellowship at Hospital University of Pennsylvania and Electrophysiology Fellowship at The Heart Institute at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. He was on the academic faculty at Hahnemann University Hospital until 1998, when he joined Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia in private practice. He is the Director of Electrophysiology at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. He has worked in the Main Line Health system at Lankenau and Paoli Hospitals since 1998. Dr Movsowitz has published original articles on ablation of atrial flutter and outflow tract PVCs. He has a special interest in Remote Monitoring of cardiac implantable electronic devices and is an invited speaker on this subject at the Heart Rhythm Society. Dr Movsowitz has extensive experience in ablation therapy for arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and device implantation including pacemakers, defibrillators, subcutaneous defibrillators and biventricular devices.
