The Pediatric Department at Paoli Hospital provides comprehensive care to children from birth through adolescence. Our dedicated medical and surgical staff includes general pediatricians as well as specialists in such area as nenatology, cardiology, surgery and otolaryngology. We handle thousands of emergency room visits and inpatient hospitalizations each year. Our  expeieneced medical team is prepared for any difficulty your child may encounter -- from the most common to the most complicated medical conditions.

Neonatology
The Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Paoli Hospital provides all levels of care from acute care to premature and/or ill newborns. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed by full-time, on-site neonatal-perinatal medicine subspecialists and specially-trained neonatal nurse practitioners. Respiratory, physical and occupational therapists also participate in the care of babies in the NICUs. This division provides consultation to members of the obstetrical, perinatal and pediatric staffs, and provides a Neonatal Transport Service to area hospitals without their own NICUs. Ongoing neurodevelopmental follow-up of high-risk NICU graduates is also provided by the members of the division, as part of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Follow-up Program.
