If a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, all imaging and diagnostic test results are reviewed by our multidisciplinary team. Individualized treatment plans are then developed to meet the needs of each woman. Our physician specialists in medical and radiation oncology are available for consultation with women to discuss treatment options and recommendations.

All patients diagnosed with breast cancer have the option of being treated at the Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital. As an affiliate of the Fox Chase Network, the Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital brings Chester County and the western Philadelphia suburbs a full spectrum of cancer services from screenings, early detection and cancer prevention studies to advanced treatments for breast, prostate, lung and other forms of cancer. The Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital is accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program.

Paoli cancer specialists have pioneered several advances such as the use of radiation seed implants and new chemotherapy treatments. Our medical and surgical specialists have been leading proponents of stereotactic biopsies, needle aspiration and sentinel node biopsies. Our Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) is one of only 50 cancer research programs in the country designated by the National Cancer Institute, allowing individuals access to national and international clinical cancer trials.
