Patient & Visitor Information Volunteering at Paoli Hospital Looking For a Way to Help Your Community? Come Join Paoli Hospital's Family of Volunteers!
Enjoy helping others? Want to meet new friends? Have a few hours to share? Join the growing family of volunteers at Paoli Hospital! Volunteering at Paoli Hospital is a positive experience shared by 400 men, women and young adults from throughout our local community. Our volunteers are students, parents, grandparents, working professionals and retirees from all walks of life. They work in many departments throughout our hospital and in our thrift shop. And they support our mission by providing services that contribute, directly or indirectly, to the care of our patients.
During National Volunteer Week, usually held in April, Paoli Hospital shows its appreciation for volunteers by hosting a gala luncheon at a nearby country club. This event features guest speakers, and pins are awarded for hours of service, which are than recorded on a plaque, on the first floor of the hospital. All it takes is a desire to improve the quality of life..a desire to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We Want YOU! There are many other opportunities available, so give us a call or drop us an e-mail and we can discuss your interests and our needs. We have a detailed packet with an application, confidentiality agreement, 2 referrals (filled out by non relatives) and a list with volunteer service areas. When the office receives the completed packet, we will call you for an interview to discuss interests, availability and needs.
