Trauma RN, PI Coordinator
Responsible for maintaining the trauma quality improvement program in
conjunction with the Trauma Medical Director, Trauma Program Manager and
Must have two years Critical Care and/or Emergency Department
Clinical experience, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Trauma
Certification, and ACLS Certification. Certification in Critical
Care or Emergency Nursing preferred.
Trauma Program Manager
Responsible for overseeing the direct and/or indirect care of trauma
patients. Will monitor, coordinate and evaluate patient care systems and
develop collaborative relationships across the spectrum of trauma care
and compliance with trauma accreditation standards for the trauma
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, graduate from accredited school of
professional nursing, certification in Critical Care and/or
Emergency Nursing, certification in Trauma Nursing and current
RN license is required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related
graduate degree preferred (must be pursuing).
Trauma Registrar (RN)
Responsible for overseeing the trauma registry data base to include
patient identification, abstraction, coding and entering data. Will work
with the Trauma PI Coordinator to utilize, to evaluate and abstract data
from health care records to ensure accurate statistical trauma data.
Must be comfortable with interpreting medical clinical data and
with advanced computing and data analytical skills. Bachelor’s
Degree in Nursing, graduate of accredited nursing program,
completion of Trauma Nurse Course & Critical Care Course,
certification in CPR and ACLS and RN with current PA license is
required. Certification in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing
Staff Nurse positions available: Operating Room, Intensive Care Unit,
Emergency Department, and Telemetry.
(At least one year of experience in Acute Care is required. BSN
