Michael Criscuolo to Head BMH Development Team Effective July 6
Russ Bullitt retires at the end of June, his successor will have an easy
time moving into the Executive Director of Development’s office on the
Hospital’s 1st floor. In fact, you could say the new boss will be moving
up by moving down – from the 4th floor, that is - where he currently
serves as Director of Major Gifts and Capital Campaigns, a position he
has held since July of 2013.
Michael D. Criscuolo began his career with a five-year stint in
Development and Public Relations at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in
Philadelphia. For the next seven years, he rapidly advanced as a senior
development officer at the Lankenau Medical Center Foundation. In 2012,
Michael accepted an offer from the Lakeland (FL) Regional Medical Center
to be Executive Director of the LRMC Foundation. In that role, he worked
closely with health system leaders and the Foundation board to implement
a robust major gifts program. He was also a highly valued member of the
Lakeland Regional Health System executive leadership team with
additional responsibilities in marketing, public relations, corporate
compliance, and physician recruitment.
The opportunity to return to his native Delaware Valley and to Main Line
Health persuaded Michael to accept the offer to succeed Russ Bullitt as
Executive Director of the Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Neumann University and
a master’s degree in Communication Arts from West Chester University. He
is an adjunct Professor of Communication Arts at Neumann University; a
past president of the University’s Alumni Association; and a past member
of the University’s Development Committee. He also serves on the
Development Resource Committee of the Philadelphia Chapter of Habitat
Michael and his wife, Jamie, live in Springfield with their three
children, Kira, Nick and Lilly.
