The Barbara Brodsky Comprehensive Breast Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital
received a $5,600 donation from the Acorn Tournament, a field hockey
tournament for local schools run by the St. Denis CYO in Havertown. In
the spirit of the CYO mission, the teams helped raise money to support
the Breast Center. Eighth graders from the St. Denis CYO field hockey
team visited the Breast Center on November 7th to present the gift, hear
firsthand about the important work being done at the Center and how
their support will directly benefit the thousands of women from our
community that the Breast Center treats each year.
