Devon Horse Show’s Fall Festival of Homes Celebrates 25th Anniversary
Devon Horse Show and Country Fair’s Fall Festival of Homes celebrated
its 25th anniversary on October 10. A Main Line tradition since 1988,
the annual house tour showcases some of the Philadelphia suburbs’ most
exclusive properties. This year’s tour was no exception.
Ticket holders saw examples of fine craftsmanship in architecture,
furniture and fine art at every stop along the way. As always, there
were unique examples of homeowners’ creativity integrating treasured
objects, heirlooms and collectibles with their home décor. Area florists
and caterers added their seasonal touches and light fare for the
enjoyment of all.
Included on the day’s itinerary was a buffet luncheon and fashion show
hosted by the Tague Design Showroom in Malvern featuring informal
modeling of women’s fashions and accessories from area boutiques.
historic Duportail House in Valley Forge was a must-stop for
jump-starting holiday shopping. Featuring over 20 participating
boutiques, there was something for everyone looking for the perfect gift
or unusual find.
Proceeds of Devon Horse Show and Country Fair’s Fall Festival of Homes
accrue to the benefit of Bryn Mawr Hospital.
