Comprehensive Breast Center Renamed for Benefactress

A recent gift from the Adolf and Rose Levis Foundation has established
the Barbara Brodsky Endowed Fellowship in Comprehensive Breast Care.
Mrs. Brodsky is Trustee of the Levis Foundation. The endowment will be
used to support the treatment and research into various aspects of
breast cancer at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Specifically, the three-year
fellowship will provide fellows with clinical, educational and research
opportunities with respect to breast imaging, breast surgery, community
service and outreach, genetics and medical oncology. The Levis
Foundation’s gift will also fund the purchase of a Digital Breast
Tomosynthesis (3-D mammography) machine for the Comprehensive Breast
Center as well as significant upgrades to the Hospital’s inpatient

of the importance of access to excellent care and the impact it has on
patients. The Comprehensive Breast Center is now The Barbara Brodsky
Comprehensive Breast Center, fitting recognition for one of Bryn Mawr
