Bryn Mawr Hospital maintains academic residency programs in Family
Medical Surgical Podiatry.
In addition, we provide training in Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery,
General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Urology for physician residents
from the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, and Thomas Jefferson
Bryn Mawr Hospital is one of a few non-university based hospitals
nationwide with a surgical breast fellowship, which is run by our Comprehensive
Cardiology fellows from Lankenau Hospital also rotate through Bryn Mawr.
Students completing their clinical training requirements for their
respective programs find a wealth of hands-on experience working with
our staff. Through a long-time partnership with West Chester University,
about 50 respiratory therapy students complete their clinical experience
at BMH. Similarly, radiology technologists from Thomas Jefferson
University, Harcum and other programs complete rotations at Bryn Mawr
Hospital. We also host medical students from Jefferson who perform
rotations here in Anesthesia, Ob/Gyn, Radiology, and Psychiatry.
