Healing Garden Dedicated at MLH Center, Newtown Square
The Healing Garden at the Main Line Health Center in Newtown Square was
officially dedicated on April 8th in memory of former BMH patient, Pat
King. While visiting the Newtown Square facility, Pat noticed that
the windows in the area where cancer patients receive chemo therapy look

garden to beautify the view and create an outdoor oasis for patients and
visitors to enjoy in nice weather.
With her customary drive and determination, Pat undertook to raise the
necessary funds, reaching out to her wide circle of friends and
appealing to them to join her in supporting the project. Pat also played
a leading role in the garden’s design, identifying the plants to be
included and their location in the garden. Pat’s legacy will be on
perpetual display in the lovely garden that she created and which is now
proudly dedicated to her memory.
