Devon Country Fair Suits Bryn Mawr Hospital to a Tea
Volunteers from the 2013 Devon Country Fair Committee sponsored a
benefit shopping event in November at The Little House Shop in Spread
Eagle Village, Wayne. Attendees enjoyed afternoon tea, sweet bites and
tea sandwiches while getting an early start on their holiday shopping.
Twenty percent of sales supported the Devon Country Fair, held each May
for the benefit of Bryn Mawr Hospital. Pictured are Ginger Clark (left)
and Judy Boyd (right) of the Little House Shop with 2013 Devon Country
Fair co-chairmen Buttons Corkhill (center, left) and Candace Guinan.
Devon’s contributions to the hospital total nearly $14 million. Recent
gifts have supported such projects as the 2005-2008 Emergency Department
renovation, the recent expansion of the Comprehensive Breast Center, and
2 fast track holding bays in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
