an independent, nonprofit organization whose

Main Line Health’s Bryn Mawr and Paoli Hospitals
and Lankenau Medical Center have received
Magnet® re-designation—the nation’s most
distinguished recognition for nursing excellence
as designated by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center (ANCC). ANCC is the
leading nursing credentialing organization in
the United States. Magnet designation is widely
accepted as the gold standard of patient care,
and recognizes excellence and professionalism in
nursing. According to the ANCC, Magnet
facilities consistently outperform non-magnet
organizations, spend more time at patients'
bedsides, and have shorter lengths of patient
stays.
