Harry Paul Mirabile, Sr. Recognition Evening
A celebration to honor the founding of The Harry Paul Mirabile,
Sr. Colorectal Cancer Center at Lankenau took place in
Lankenau’s West Medical Office Building on June 8, 2011. Guests
dined in the Annenberg Conference Center following the
presentation of a portrait of Mr. Mirabile in tribute of his
unwavering community leadership and in honor of his family’s
commitment to carrying on his lifelong goals.
A “virtual center without walls,” the Mirable Colorectal Cancer
Center’s mission is to provide a framework for scientists and
clinicians to exchange ideas to solve the most demanding
problems in the struggle to prevent, treat, and subdue
colorectal cancer through active clinical research. The center
is under the direction of John H. Marks, MD, Director of the
Colorectal Surgery Center and Section Chief of Colorectal
Surgery for Lankenau Medical Center and MLH.
