The Annual President's John D. Lankenau Society Reception
Members of the John D. Lankenau Society gathered together on November
16, 2011 for the annual President's reception, held in Lankenau's
Annenberg Conference Center. The theme of the evening was
"Your Passport to Our Future." Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors
d'oeuvres before embarking on a journey around Lankenau's campus to
visit educational stations and receive passport stamps at each.
Guests toured the radiation oncology department to hear about
new the new TrueBeam STx linear accelerator; visited
a lab in the Lankenau Institute for Medical
Research; tried their hand at operating a daVinci robotic
surgical system; and took a trolley ride to witness the ongoing
construction of the all-new Patient Pavilion.
