Pain.
It’s the one thing everyone who comes to the Spine Center has in common.
But that’s where the similarities end—and our important job begins.
We know every person with spine-related pain is unique and that the
differences are crucial to uncover, understand, and take into account
when making a diagnosis and selecting and tailoring treatment. When a
person is first seen at the Spine Center, we begin by listening
carefully to the details of that person’s story. We then examine closely
each bit of information from a physical exam and from imaging or other
tests to understand how the story and the data fit together. This
precise approach to evaluation is essential to selecting the most
appropriate treatment, which in turn is vital to ensuring an optimal
outcome.
At the Spine Center, we are committed to excellence in the care of
patients with spine conditions. Whether our evaluation reveals that the
most appropriate treatment is a surgical procedure, a pain management
referral, or rehabilitation program, or a simple injection, we offer
expertise and experience you can count on to ensure a good result. We
know that how the job is done matters, and we are dedicated to doing the
best job possible.
An important component of our care approach is patient education aimed
at easing fear or confusion about spine conditions that cause chronic or
debilitating pain. We know many patients have concerns and questions
about what is causing the pain and what may be involved in treating the
problem. We take time to help patients understand their unique situation
and our recommended plan of care. Treatment plans are tailored to each
patient with the goals of:
-
Relieving pain
-
Restoring function and mobility
-
Improving quality of life
If you are suffering from spinal related pain or have recently been
advised by a physician to consult a spine specialist, we can help. On
behalf of the clinical team and staff at the Spine Center, I look
forward to getting to the bottom of the problem and to helping you get
on the road to recovery.
