Breastfeeding Program
Paoli Hospital earned the 2012 IBCLC CARE Award which
recognizes maternity facilities worldwide that hire currently certified
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certificants.
All nurses are specially trained in breastfeeding education. Our new
mothers are visited by internationally board certified lactation
consultants seven days a week while in the hospital.
New Parent Group
Paoli has a support group for new mothers, led by a breastfeeding
specialist. Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each
month from 2–3 pm at the Henrietta Hankin Library in Chester Springs.
