Learning Safety through Stories is an injury prevention program which
highlights children literature's focus on injury prevention. In addition
to the program books being available in the library for children and
their parents, a story hour will be offered this summer in the
hospital’s library.
This interactive story hour will engage children in identifying safety
challenges and solutions in their every day world. For additional
questions concerning the program, please contact Lisa Eckenrode RN MSN,
Trauma Injury Prevention/Outreach Coordinator @ 484-565-8328 or eckenrodel@mlhs.org.
