A major goal of establishing a state-of-the-art Comprehensive
Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Center is to accommodate this
unique patient population that has grown by 30% over the past
three years and is on track to demonstrate an additional 15% increase in
the current year.
It has become evident that an expanded physical space and consolidating
neurorehabilitation services to one dedicated location is necessary to
support the outpatient volume growth and provide a superior patient
experience. An integrated team of clinicians and staff in one physical
location can most efficiently manage the treatment programs and provide
the kind of oversight required during each stage of recovery. We
believe that a larger and dedicated Neurorehabilitation Center is
critical to respond to the changing needs of our community and the
region’s healthcare environment.
In short, the Comprehensive Outpatient Neurorehabilitation
Center will offer an environment that matches the high quality
rehabilitation services provided by a world class clinical team, and
provide state-of-the-art equipment to enhance patient outcomes.
The Comprehensive Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Center will
specifically include the following:

Interdisciplinary team working together

10 private treatment rooms (an increase from 3
to meet the need of patients for whom distractions can
significantly interfere with treatment)

New Vestibular Suite to treat those with balance
and vestibular dysfunction

New Visual Perception Suite to benefit
individuals whose visual and motor function has been
compromised by injury or disease

Increased gym space providing a visually
pleasing outside view and improved therapeutic equipment
access. This gym will provide therapy space and also be
used to test one’s recovery prior to a release back to
sports
