The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research
Recognizing the important role that public health research can play in effective health promotion and disease prevention, the Center for Public Health Research (CPHR) at LIMR was founded to implement public health research and preventative strategies throughout Main Line Health, as well as create educational outlets for students – at all levels – to explore and develop careers in healthcare and public health.
Under the leadership of Stanton B. Miller, MD, MPH, FACS, the CPHR designs and implements innovative research strategies with the intent to improve the public health of all Main Line Health communities. Current projects include education-research models to engage students interested in healthcare, community-based initiatives to improve child and elderly safety, and population-health studies to identify potential healthcare inequities within Main Line Health.
