The gracious home of Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation trustee, Cindy Terker
and Bruce Terker was the scene on May 12 of Spring Thing 2011,
sponsored by The Gerhard Society. Over 80 guests were on hand
to hear Chief of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Robert P. Good, share the
latest advances from the nationally acclaimed Orthopedic Center of Bryn
Mawr Hospital. Dr. Good was introduced by Hospital President, Andrea
Gilbert. Following the program, guests took advantage of beautiful
weather to enjoy buffet supper and dessert al fresco.
Spring Thing is an annual cultivation event that affords interested
community members the opportunity to become better acquainted with Bryn
Mawr Hospital’s not-for-profit mission. Guests appreciate the
opportunity to connect with senior administration, “Top Docs”, volunteer
leaders, and one another in a relaxed, social ambiance. These new
connections grow over time and ensure a strong, renewable base of
philanthropic support, an indispensable part of the Hospital’s financial
stability.
