Lankenau's Master Facility Project
Lankenau’s Master Facility Plan (MFP), the largest expansion and
renovation in the history of this institution, is already improving the
services and programs on our campus in order to provide high quality
healthcare each day. This extensive project will increase the research
and education capabilities on our campus, improve the efficiency of and
accessibility to patient services, meanwhile keeping patient safety,
comfort and privacy at the forefront of all developments.
Lankenau’s MFP is evidence of our commitment to continue defining
medicine and the ways in which we deliver patient care, perform
innovative research, and teach the next generation of medical
Components of the MFP include: Emergency Department renovation, MRI/CT
suite technology and renovation, 1S/1SW renovation and more
privatization of patient rooms to come, Renovation of the Cardiac
Intervention & Electrophysiology Suite, a new Comprehensive Breast
Center, new Inpatient Kidney Dialysis Unit, new Cardiothoracic Intensive
Care Unit, expanded Gastrointestinal Interventional Endoscopy Suite, a
new 1,300-space parking garage, roadway improvements, Kitchen and
Cafeteria improvements and hotel-style on-demand dining, a new central
monitoring room, creation of the Annenberg Simulation Center, the new
Outpatient Lab & Pre-admission testing Suite, renovated public
lobbies, corridors and bathrooms, and, of course, the new five-story,
96-bed Heart and Vascular Pavilion.

The Nursing Excellence fund provides
resources for ongoing nursing education as well as enabling our nurses
to travel to and participate in regional and national conferences.
Lankenau Institute for Medical Research
LIMR is dedicated to improving diagnosis and treatment of diseases
through translational research. Our investigators work on projects that
go from our laboratory bench to the patient bedside. Like Lankenau, LIMR
is a not-for-profit entity and relies heavily upon the generosity of
individuals, foundations, and corporations to support its work.
Lankenau Medical Center's Highest Priority Needs
When you designate your gift to Lankenau's highest priority needs, your
contribution is considered unrestricted and may be used for a variety of
purposes which are deemed to be of high and immediate importance in
order to improve Lankenau's programs and services.
