All women facing a diagnosis of breast cancer, as well as their family
members, have access to a variety of resources and support services
through the Holloway Breast Center at Paoli Hospital, the Cancer Center
of Paoli Hospital, and the Main Line Health network.
Breast Care Nurse Navigator
A distinctive feature of the Holloway Breast Health Center at Paoli
Hospital is our breast care
nurse navigator. If you are diagnosed with breast cancer, our breast
care nurse navigator is here to help you navigate through this difficult
time. As an experienced breast health nurse, our navigator is a valuable
resource for you and your family, providing support, comfort, education

Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital
All patients diagnosed with breast cancer have the option of being
treated at the Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital.
As an affiliate of the Fox Chase Network, the Cancer Center of Paoli
Hospital brings Chester County and the western Philadelphia suburbs a
full spectrum of cancer services.
Education Center
The Holloway Breast Health Center is committed to patient education. Our
staff is here to answer all questions and to help women make the most
informed healthcare decisions. In addition, in the center’s resource
room, we provide a computer for access to nationally recognized breast
health Web sites as well as pamphlets, books and videos on breast
health.
Support Services
A dedicated oncology social worker helps women and their families cope
with the issues surrounding a cancer diagnosis. We offer group and
individual counseling, support groups for women and family members, and
referrals to community resources.
Pain and Symptom Management
Oncology certified nurses in coordination with the cancer treatment
team, help women manage symptoms such as pain, fatigue and nausea.
Lymphedema Management Program
Following surgery, some women may experience lymphedema, or swelling of
limbs due to insufficient drainage of the lymphatic system. We offer an
individualized program with specially trained therapists to help women
prevent or treat painful symptoms and promote recovery.
Free Wig Program for Cancer Patients
Free wigs are available to women who are experiencing hair loss as a
result of cancer treatment.
Educational Programs
Our clinical team offers programs to the community on new advances in
prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Hospice and Bereavement Services
Specialized services are offered through the Home
Care Network.
