Main Line Health Nurse Residency Application Process
Main Line Health will be accepting applications for our Nurse Residency
Program from January 8th to January 22nd at 4pm. The Nurse Residency
position will be titled “Nurse Residency Program-MLH-2014.” Please
follow the link below to register and search for the position. There is
one general application for all five of the Main Line Health entities
(Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle
Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital). Specific units will be discussed
at the initial interview.
The following information is required for the application to be
considered complete and MUST be attached to the online application (Once
you register and locate the position, please upload required materials
under “My Career Tools.” For the attachment type or description, please
use any of the options available).
1. Current Resume (cover letters can be included but are not required)
2. Unofficial transcript (must reflect your most recent semester
available and cumulative GPA)
3. Two clinical recommendations (recommendations must be from clinical
instructors, not managers or professors); MLH does not have a set form
for your instructors to use.
4. Two Essay questions (200 words maximum for each):
1. Describe a specific clinical situation in which you
utilized evidence based practice to guide your decisions
for patient care.
2. Describe a specific clinical situation where you had
to use critical thinking skills.
