Inpatient Kidney Dialysis Unit

Lankenau Medical Center is ranked among the best in the region for treatment of kidney disease by U.S. News & World Report. Our newly constructed Inpatient Dialysis Unit on 2 South, which opened in February 2010, was designed with patient comfort, infection control and workspace efficiency in mind.

 

 

Enhancements to the Inpatient Dialysis Unit include:

• Six private patient treatment stations, each designed for privacy and quiet, and equipped with personal TV, phone and window views for comfort

• Personal sinks, hand hygiene dispensers and supporting treatment supplies in each private patient station for safety and infection prevention

• Redesigned staff workspace that affords visibility of all patients, improved efficiency and expanded supply storage
