Michael J. Walker, M.D.
Dr. Michael Walker earned his medical
degree from Jefferson Medical College,
completed his residency in General
Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University
Hospital, and a Cardiothoracic Surgery
Fellowship at the University of
Washington in Seattle. Dr. Walker is
board certified by the American Board of
Thoracic Surgery, is a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons, and a
member of the Society of Thoracic
Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology,
American Society of Clinical Oncology,
and the General Thoracic Surgical Club.
He is a Clinical Associate Professor at

Alicia A. McKelvey, M.D.
Dr. Alicia McKelvey earned her medical
degree from Virginia Commonwealth
University, Medical College of Virginia
School of Medicine, and completed her
residency in General Surgery at St.
Mary’s Hospital, a Yale University
affiliate. Following a Cardiothoracic
Surgery Residency at George Washington
University, Dr. McKelvey completed a
fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the
Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and a
Minimally Invasive Foregut Surgery
Fellowship at the University of
Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. McKelvey
is board certified by the American Board
of Surgery and the American Board of
Thoracic Surgeons. She is a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons, and
the College of Chest Physicians. more

Ned Z. Carp, M.D.
Dr. Ned Carp earned his medical degree
from Temple University School of
Medicine, completed his General Surgery
Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital,
and a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at
Fox Chase Cancer Center. He is board
certified by the American Board of
Surgery, specializes in Surgical
Oncology, and is a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons, and a
member of the American Society of
Clinical Oncology, the American Society
of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the
American Radium Society, the Society for
Surgical Oncology, and the Eastern
Cooperative Oncology Group. Dr. Carp is
Campus Division Chief of General Surgery
at Lankenau Medical Center, Director of
Surgical Oncology, and Pennsylvania
State Chairman to the Commission on
Cancer of the American College of
Surgeons. He is also an Assistant
Clinical Professor of Surgery at
Jefferson Medical College, and a
Clinical Associate Professor of the
Lankenau Institute for Medical

Inge Thickening, CRNP
Inge Thickening, CRNP, obtained her Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN) from Temple University,
and her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN)
from University of Pennsylvania. She is
certified as an Adult Acute Care Nurse
Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in
Intensive Care, Cardiac Care, and Trauma
nursing. Inge works primarily with Dr. Michael
Walker at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Lankenau
Medical Center.

Gina M. Cozzone, PA-C
Gina Cozzone, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of
Science in Neuroscience from University of
Pittsburgh, and her Master’s in Physician
Assistant Studies from Drexel University in
2008. She completed her Postgraduate Surgical
Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in
Baltimore, MD and is a certified Physician
Assistant. Gina works primarily with Dr. Alicia
McKelvey at Paoli Hospital and Lankenau Medical
Center.
