Tara Arlene Innmon (Minneapolis,
Minnesota) worked as an occupational
therapist until she became blind.
Knowing she would become totally blind,
she spent her time working as a visual
artist and completed hundreds of
acrylics and pastels. As she continued
to lose her sight, Innmon’s art became
more flowing, more spontaneous and more
expressive of her feelings. Best known
for her works in the Art of the Eye I
and II series, she received recognition
from exhibits throughout the country.
