Patricia Wexelblat (Merion Station,
Pennsylvania) began making beaded
jewelry to work through the sadness of
losing her hearing to Meniere’s disease.
She lost her hearing as a child and
received a successful cochlear implant
at age 66, but still copes with
dizziness from her disease. Wexelblat
designs and teaches jewelry making. She
has had three jewelry designs published
by Interweave Press.
