Patricia Goodrich (Richlandtown,
Pennsylvania) is a published poet, short
story writer and sculptor. She lost her
lower left leg in a motorcycle accident.
She said that the missing part of her
leg contributes to a sense of being off
balance and a heightened awareness of
what it means to be physically
“grounded.” This awareness is an asset
to her visual and literary work. She has
exhibited at the Vermont Studio Center;
Europos Parkas, Vilnius, Lithuania and
in Moscow and Nizhy Novgorod, Russia.
She is the recipient of an Andy Warhol
Fellowship, the Leeway Foundation Window
of Opportunity, a Puffin Foundation
grant and has been awarded numerous
