Leigha Cohen (Lawrenceville, New Jersey)
has degrees in electrical engineering
and sociology and a teaching certificate
in early childhood education. In the
early 1970s, she studied photography at
Queens College and The New School and
completed one year in the master of fine
arts program at Pratt Institute in
Brooklyn. Cohen suffers from chronic
pain, migraines, fibromyalgia and
bipolar disorder. When her health
allows, she photographs portraits,
commitment ceremonies and landscapes.
Her photography is displayed in many
solo and group venues in both
Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
